Deposited Students Timeline

January/February

File FAFSA Information - If you haven’t already done so, apply for a PIN# at http://www.pin.ed.gov/. This will allow you to sign the online application electronically. (Parents of dependent students must also have a PIN# to sign the application.) Second, complete the FAFSA online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Our School Code is 003259. (Step #6 on the FAFSA.)

March/April

Financial Aid – Eastern University is now packaging need based financial aid for those that have filed a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). If you have questions about financial aid, please call either the Admissions Office (800) 452-0996, or Financial Aid (610) 341-5842.

If you are unsure of the opportunities for financial aid that may be available to you, please contact us so we can assist you. Information is also available at our financial aid site.  

Priority Registration for Transfer Students: 

If you deposit by March 25th, you will have the opportunity to register early for classes before open registration begins for new students. Contact your counselor if you have any questions.

May

Registration – Registration materials for classes will be mailed to all deposited applicants in May. After you read through your packet, you may have some questions. We are eager to assist you. You may call your admissions counselor or email the Assistant Registrar, Devon Cockerill at dcockeri@eastern.edu for assistance.

June

Your Student Account – The Student Accounts Office will mail student bills as soon as a student’s registration is processed by the registrar. Many options are available to students to meet their financial obligations to the college, including payment plans. Payment plans are designed to begin in June but are available right through the beginning of school. Inquiries to the Student Accounts Office can be made by calling (610) 341-5831.

July

Summer Equip Program Dates:
July 12, 2008 to August 1, 2008 

Housing – The Student Development Office will announce housing and roommate assignments in July. This will give students time to talk to and make plans with their new roommate. Questions about housing selection can be addressed to either Admissions at our number or the Housing Office at (610) 341-5840.

August

The student development office will announce freshman orientation move-in day and other events. For questions on these dates, please call 610-341-5822.
