Current Students First Stop
International Student Services (ISS) provides guidance to F-1 international students on issues regarding visa status, special document needs and adjusting to life in the U.S. and at Eastern. ISS can also provide advice regarding immigration and employment issues as students proceed along their career paths.
Some of the things for which F-1 students will need assistance from ISS include: maintaining visa status, applying for a social security number, getting a drivers license and filing a tax declaration. Detailed information is available in the International Student Handbook, and accessible on the right-hand menu on this page.
F-1 students may also visit the ISS office in Walton 216 for assistance, or contact ISS by telephone or email.
