If you're a new or returning resident student, we want to make access to technology on campus as easy as possible. New fall students will receive a packet upon their arrival with detailed hard copy setup instructions, a CD-ROM with valuable files, free software, and a welcome from Eastern. If you do not receive this packet, please contact your resident director or Academic Computing.
If your computer is equipped with a network card and Windows 2000 or XP Professional, the instructions will offer a step-by-step guide to configuring your machine for our campus network. It's easy! If any problems arise, one of the Academic Computing techs will be available to help you.
Every student who registers at Eastern is eligible for an e-mail account. Your login name and password will be mailed to you soon after registration. All Eastern Students can access their e-mail from the University's webmail server by going to our homepage (www.eastern.edu), from any computer on the Internet, hovering over ENET, and then clicking on "Webmail".
