Lisa M. Hemlick, PhD, Director:

Dr. Hemlick, a licensed psychologist, has provided psychological services in a variety of college, hospital, and community settings. In addition to her administrative duties, she counsels students, works with students with disabilities, teaches and supervises the CCAS counseling interns.  She holds a BS in Psychology, an MS in Student Personnel and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University.

Thelma Lunsford-Gray, MS, MDiv, Tutorial Coordinator: 

Rev. Lunsford-Gray oversees the CCAS tutorial program, teaches developmental reading to EQUIP students, and implements accommodations for students with learning differences. Before coming to Eastern, she served as a public school teacher and a reading specialist in the Lower Merion School District, working primarily with students with learning differences. She received her BA in Education from Shaw University, her MA in Human Resources from Villanova University and her MDiv from Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

John Nordlof, PhD, Writing Specialist: 

Dr. Nordlof trains and supervises the Writing Assistants who staff Eastern’s Writing Center, teaches developmental writing to EQUIP students, and serves as adjunct professor of English in the English Department. Having received his PhD in English from the University of Delaware, Dr. Nordlof has taught composition and literature at a variety of schools; his most recent post was as assistant professor of English at Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts.

Calvin T. Skinner, MDiv, Act 101 Counselor: 

Mr. Skinner lived in various parts of the country, from New York to Tennessee, before coming to PA.  He received his BS in Communications from the University of Tennessee. Upon graduation, he entered Palmer Theological Seminary where he earned a MDiv.  Mr. Skinner has worked in various roles in church, school and parish organizations. Most recently, he served as program director for a youth resource ministry, Brotherly Love Urban Youth Services, Inc., in Philadelphia. Mr. Skinner enjoys endeavors that promote personal growth, and sharing time with family and friends. 

Diane Moore, MS, LPC, Counselor:  

Mrs. Moore is a licensed professional counselor who provides assessments, referrals and mental health and substance abuse counseling with CCAS. Diane has held both therapist and administrative positions in private psychiatric, substance abuse, and managed care settings. She has had her own Christian private practice, and served as an Interim Director and a volunteer with Response Rape Crisis Center in Orlando, FL. Diane holds a BS in Criminology and a MS in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University.
