Welcome to the Eastern University Family

"Home is where we start from." These words from T.S. Eliot are a reminder to us at Eastern University that you, as parents, are an integral part of the educational journey of each student. Every parent of an Eastern University student is a member of the Parents' Association and, as such, we welcome your encouragement and involvement in the program and development of Eastern University as it provides for the ongoing education of your sons or daughters.

We want you to think of Eastern as an extension of your home, and we hope you will share in the rich academic, social, spiritual and cultural experiences your sons and daughters enjoy. In order to keep you informed and help you feel a part of the Eastern community, we publish a newsletter, the Parent Connection. We also invite you to read our "@ Eastern" newsletter to stay on top of what is happening here on campus. We are also helping to build support networks between parents by coordinating regional parent get-togethers and telephone contacts.

We hope that you will find these pages helpful and informative. There are easy links to important phone numbers, the academic calendar, and local tourism information. We have also highlighted some upcoming events that we believe will be of interest to families.

We would like you to join us in active involvement with the Eastern University Parents' Association. Your ideas will help us to refine this site, as well as provide information that you need in order to feel involved in the life of your sons or daughters here at Eastern.
