St. Davids Campus

From I-476 (The Blue Route): Take Exit 13 (St. Davids/Villanova). Turn left off the ramp onto Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) At light for Radnor-Chester Road (Radnor Hotel on corner), turn right. At the end of the road, turn left onto King of Prussia Road. At the second light, turn left onto Eagle Road. Then left into main entrance of Eastern University. Continue on Thomas Drive to main parking area.

From Philadelphia Schuylkill Expressway (I-76): West to exit for I-476 South. Take Exit 13 (St. Davids/Villanova). Follow directions from I-476 (The Blue Route).

From Philadelphia (Lancaster Avenue/Route 30): Take Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) west. Proceed across City Avenue and continue for approximately 20 minutes on Lancaster Avenue Turn right onto King of Prussia Road to third traffic light (Eagle Road.). Follow directions from I-476 (The Blue Route).

From Paoli (Lancaster Avenue/Route 30): Take Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) east. Proceed on Lancaster Avenue to King of Prussia Road. Turn left and continue to third traffic light (Eagle Road.). Follow directions from I-476 South (The Blue Route).

From Pittsburgh and Points West: Take I-276 East (PA Turnpike) to Exit 326 (Valley Forge). Continue on I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway). Take I-476 South (The Blue Route) to Exit 13 (St. Davids/Villanova). Follow directions from I-476 (The Blue Route).

From Northern PA and New York: Take I-81 South to the Northeast Extension (I-476 South). Follow I-476 South (The Blue Route) to Exit 13 (St. Davids/Villanova) and follow directions from I-476 (The Blue Route).

From New York and New England: Take I-95 South to the NJ Turnpike. Continue south to I-276 West (Exit 359, PA Turnpike). Follow I-276 West to I-476 South (Mid-County Exit 25A towards Philadelphia/Chester). Follow I-476 South to Exit 13 (St. Davids/Villanova) and follow directions from I-476 (The Blue Route).

From Washington, D.C., Baltimore, MD and Points South: Take I-95 North into Pennsylvania to I-476 North (The Blue Route). Follow I-476 North to Exit 13 (St. Davids/Villanova). Follow directions from I-476 (The Blue Route).

From the Philadelphia International Airport: Take I-95 South to I-476 North (The Blue Route) to Exit 13 (St. Davids/Villanova). Follow directions from I-476 (The Blue Route).

From King of Prussia Hotels and Route 202: From Route 202 (DeKalb Pike) travel south on South Gulph Road at the four-way intersection (Chilis Restaurant and Best Western Hotel on corners). Take South Gulph Road to second light. Take a right onto Brooks Road to end-right onto Croton Road. Make second left onto King of Prussia Road. At first light, turn right onto Eagle Road. Then left into main entrance of Eastern University. Continue on road (Thomas Drive) to main parking area.

St. Davids Campus via Public Transportation

The St. Davids campus is a 10 minute walk from the SEPTA R5, a major commuter train line that connects to points throughout the greater Philadelphia area, and, via Amtrak or NJTransit, to points throughout the Northeast U.S. Please see the following links for more information:

Train from Philadelphia: From 30th Street Station take the R-5 Regional Rail Train Line west towards Paoli (Paoli local). Get off at the St. Davids station and walk down to the right. Continue straight on Chamounix Road to small entrance to the walking path for Eastern University. Follow path to the center of campus.

Falls Center Shuttle Schedule

From Points North:
Take I-476 South to exit 16, I-76 East Valley Forge/Philadelphia.  Continue on I-76 East for approximately 8.5 miles.  Take exit Toward Kelly Drive, exit 340A.  Follow signs for Kelly drive.  Drive approximately .25 miles on Kelly drive (East River Drive) past Falls Bridge. Shortly after, take a left on Midvale Ave.  Dive on Midvale for several blocks.  Take a right on Henry Avenue.  Arrive at Falls Center entrance on right shortly thereafter.  

From Points West:
Take I-76 East bound to the Kelly Drive exit.  Take exit Toward Kelly Drive, exit 340A.  Follow signs for Kelly drive.  Drive approximately .25 miles on Kelly drive (East River Drive) past Falls Bridge. Shortly after, take a left on Midvale Ave.  Dive on Midvale for several blocks.  Take a right on Henry Avenue.  Arrive at Falls Center entrance on right shortly thereafter.  

From Points East

Directions to Scotts Lane Lot (For Special Events Using the Auditorium and Lower Level)
Continue past the Falls Center main entrance to access Scotts Lane parking lot.  For access to Scotts Lane lot, take first left onto Indian Queen Lane.  Continue around perimeter of Falls Center.  Take left onto Scotts Lane.  Arrive at Eastern University and Eastern University Charter School Scotts Lane parking lot on left shortly thereafter.

From I-76:
Take I-76 East to 676 East. Take the Broad Street exit, turning right onto 15th. Cross over Race, Arch, and then turn right on JFK, cross over 16th, 17th, and 18th. Building is on the left corner of 18th and JFK.

From 95 S/N:
Take 95 to 676 West, exit Broad Street (Hwy 611S), turn left onto 15th. Turn right onto JFK, cross over 16th, 17th, and 18th. Building is on the left corner of 18th and JFK.

From New Jersey:
Ben Franklin Bridge to I676 W, exit Broad Street (hwy 611S), turn left onto 15th. Turn right onto JFK, cross over 16th, 17th, and 18th. Building is on the left corner of 18th and JFK.

Train Stop:
Suburban Station/Market Line. Walk down to 18th & JFK.

Internal Directions:
Enter the building from the corner of 18th & JFK (There are 2 towers, you want the 1800 tower located on the corner of 18th & JFK). Take the elevator to the 11th floor. Turn left as you exit the elevator, Eastern University suite is straight ahead.

Parking Information:
There is a lot located at 1901 JFK Boulevard (Central Parking System) and 1701 Market that can be used by students and faculty for a flat rate of $6.00. Discount parking tickets for these garages can be obtained from the front desk staff at the 1800 JFK Eastern University site.

Note:
If you choose to park elsewhere, please be aware that most city parking charges a pre-5:00 rate. If you park before 5:00PM you will be charged the pre-5:00 rate for the whole evening. If you need to arrive prior to 5:00, it would be advantageous to go out, move your car at 5:00 and re-park.

JFK (between 17 & 18th streets)
Open air parking -middle of block on JFK between 17th & 18th. After 5 P.M. parking for cars, SUV's, and Minivans is $7.00 - pick-up trucks of all sizes are $11.00. Before 5:00 p.m. parking is $22.50.

18th, 19th or Arch Streets
Central Parking - entrance on each street - open air parking - After 5 P.M. all vehicles are $8.00. Before 5:00 p.m.. $17.50.

Enclosed Parking Garages:

19th & JFK
Turn right onto 18th, left at light onto Arch, left at light onto 19th. Kennedy House near intersection of JFK - turn right into garage - get ticket from machine - proceed to park. $17.50 regardless of time entering or departing.

19th & Market
Turn left onto 19th from JFK - make 1st right onto side street then right into garage. Take ticket and park. $15.00 regardless of time entering or departing.

Note: on 18th at 6 P.M. the meters open up to street parking. However, any cars parked on the street before then may be towed!!

From I-95 Southbound: Travel down I-95 Southbound and take the Allegheny Avenue exit. At the bottom of the ramp make a right turn onto Allegheny Avenue. Travel on Allegheny Avenue for about 2 miles until arriving at 5th Street. Turn right onto 5th Street. Follow 5th Street, passing Erie Avenue, Luzurne Street, and the Hunting Park Avenue intersections. At the next small intersection, Bristol Street, make a right turn. NECHE is in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. office building located on the corner of 5th and Bristol Streets. Enter through the Bristol Street entrance and proceed to the 3rd floor. Parking can be found on the street or at the end of the NEI building on Bristol Street in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. lot.

From Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) East/King of Prussia: Take I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway) until reaching Roosevelt Boulevard (Route 1 North). Stay on Route 1 North (Roosevelt Blvd.) past Broad Street and bear to the right, taking the Wingohocken/9th street exit. After exiting, continue in the local lanes of the Boulevard through two traffic lights. Just past the second traffic light, Wyoming Street vers to the right at a 45o angle. Go one block on Wyoming to the traffic light. This is 5th street. Turn right and go to the third traffic light (Bristol Street) and turn left. NECHE is in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. office building located on the corner of 5th and Bristol Streets. Enter through the Bristol Street entrance and proceed to the 3rd floor. Parking can be found on the street or at the end of the NEI building on Bristol Street in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. lot.

From Schuylkill Expressway (I-76) West/Airport: Take I-76 West (Schuylkill Expressway) to Route 1 North. Follow Route 1 North (Roosevelt Blvd.) past Broad Street and bear to your right taking the 9th street exit. After exiting, make your way to the light and continue forward until you reach 5th Street. You will make a right on 5th Street and continue to Bristol. At Bristol make a left. NECHE is in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. office building located on the corner of 5th and Bristol Streets. Enter through the Bristol Street entrance and proceed to the 3rd floor. Parking can be found on the street or at the end of the NEI building on Bristol Street in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. lot.

From Center City (without taking I-95 or 76): Take Broad Street going North. Make a right turn onto Hunting Park Avenue. After traveling through the park, pass the intersections of 9th Street and 6th Street. At the next intersection, turn left. The next intersection will be 5th and Bristol Streets. It is a T intersection, with 5th continuing and Bristol intersecting from the right. Turn right onto Bristol. NECHE is in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. office building located on the corner of 5th and Bristol Streets. Enter through the Bristol Street entrance and proceed to the 3rd floor. Parking can be found on the street or at the end of the NEI building on Bristol Street in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. lot.

Route 1 Southbound: Take Route 1, Roosevelt Boulevard, Southbound. Stay in the local outside lanes. The travel time down Route 1 is approximately 20 minutes from the Pennsylvania turnpike/Street Road, depending on traffic. At the 5th Street intersection turn left. Continue on 5th Street, passing several intersections: Wyoming Avenue, Annsbury and Cayuga. The 5th and Bristol Street intersection is a T, with Bristol coming from the left. Turn left onto Bristol. NECHE is in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. office building located on the corner of 5th and Bristol Streets. Enter through the Bristol Street entrance and proceed to the 3rd floor. Parking can be found on the street or at the end of the NEI building on Bristol Street in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. lot.

From New Jersey: Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 4. After exiting, follow the signs to the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. Go over the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, and stay in the right hand lane. Immediately at the base of the bridge, turn right onto 5th Street. Continue on 5th Street (about 15-20 minutes), passing Spring Garden, Erie, Allegheny and Luzerne Streets. One block after crossing Hunting Park Avenue, turn right onto Bristol Street. NECHE is in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. office building located on the corner of 5th and Bristol Streets. Enter through the Bristol Street entrance and proceed to the 3rd floor. Parking can be found on the street or at the end of the NEI building on Bristol Street in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. lot

Free parking is available in the Nueva Esperanza, Inc. lot adjacent to the building.
Enter the building from Bristol Street entrance. NECHE is located on the third floor.

From PA Turnpike: From PA Turnpike, take Exit 247. After exiting, continue straight ahead following Route 283 North to Route 83 North/Route 322 West. Stay on Route 83 North to Exit 48 - Union Deposit Road. Turn right off the exit onto Union Deposit Road. At the first light (Rite Aid on corner) turn right onto East Park Drive. The office is located in the first building on the right after you pass the Sheraton Hotel.

From Route 81: Follow Route 81 South to Route 83 South. Stay on Route 83 South to Exit 48 - Union Deposit Road. Turn left off the exit onto Union Deposit Road. At the second light (Rite Aid on Corner) turn right onto East Park Drive. The office is located in the first building on the right after you pass the Sheraton Hotel.

From Route 322: Follow Route 322 West to Route 83 North. Stay on Route 83 North to exit 48 - Union Deposit Road. Turn right off the exit onto Union Deposit Road. At the first light (Rite Aid on Corner) turn right onto East Park Drive. The office is located in the first building on the right after you pass the Sheraton Hotel.

From Route 581: Follow Route 581 East. It will turn into Route 83 North. Stay on Route 83 North to exit 48 - Union Deposit Road. Turn right off the exit onto Union Deposit Road. At the first light (Rite Aid on Corner) turn right onto East Park Drive. The office is located in the first building on the right after you pass the Sheraton Hotel.

Directions to Sheraton Inn:

From I-83: Take I-83 North to Harrisburg take exit 48. Turn right off ramp onto Union Deposit Road. At the first light (Rite Aid on the corner), turn right onto East Park Drive. The office is located in the first building on the right after you pass the Sheraton Hotel on the right.

From I-76: Take I-76 East or West to exit 19 - Harrisburg East. Continue on I-283 North to I-83 North. Take exit 48 - Turn right off ramp onto Union Deposit Road. At the first light (Rite Aid on the corner), turn right onto East Park Drive. The office is located in the first building on the right after you pass the Sheraton Hotel on the right.

Palmer Theological Seminary

Palmer Theological Seminary is located on the corner of Lancaster Avenue (Route 30) and City Avenue (Route 1).



From Northern New Jersey: Take New Jersey Turnpike south. Take exit 6 to Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rt. I-276 East). At exit 333 (Norristown), take I-476 South (called the "Blue Route" by locals). On 476 South take exit 13 (St. Davids) and follow Route 30 east toward Philadelphia. Stay on Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) for about 6-7 miles. You will see Lankenau Hospital on the right and the Seminary is immediately past this on the same side.



From Southern New Jersey: 
Take Atlantic City Expressway or other major highway to either the Ben Franklin Bridge or Walt Whitman Bridge. Take Route 1-76 West (Schuylkill Expressway) toward Valley Forge. Take exit 339 to City Avenue (Route 1 South). This will bring you past St. Joseph's University to the Seminary, which is at the intersection of Routes 1 and 30. You will turn right at the intersection (stay in the left lane) and then make an immediate left into the entrance of the Seminary.



From Delaware or Southern New Jersey via Commodore Barry Bridge:
 Take Route I-95 North toward Philadelphia. At exit 7 take I-476 North (called the "Blue Route" by locals). At exit 5 take Route 1 North (Township Line--becomes City Avenue) toward Philadelphia. You will go about 7 miles and will cross Route 3. Shortly after passing Friends Central High School you will see the Seminary on your left. At the intersection (Routes 1 and 30) make a left and stay in the left lane. The Seminary entrance is on your left. There is no entrance on Route 1.



From Western Pennsylvania:
 Take Pennsylvania Turnpike east to Valley Forge Interchange (Exit 326). After exiting toll booth, take I-76 East (Schuylkill Expressway). Take this to Gulph Mills exit. At the bottom of the ramp, turn right and follow Gulph Road. This will become Montgomery Avenue. Stay on Montgomery.
 Follow this past Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church and Bryn Mawr United Methodist Church (both are on the left). Get into the right lane past the Exxon gas station. Just past the Ardmore Presbyterian Church on the left (large parking lot on your right with stone wall), turn right at the light (Suburban Square shopping center). Go under the railroad tracks (bridge) and then take the next left. The road will jog right (train station on your left) and you will come to a "T" intersection with traffic lights. Turn left. This is Lancaster Avenue (Route 30). Follow Route 30 until you see Lankenau Medical Center on the right. The Seminary is immediately past this on the same side.
If this seems too complicated (it sounds worse than it is!) a longer but simpler route is to take I-76 to I-476 to Route 30 (see directions above from Northern New Jersey).
