|
IC434: The Horsehead Nebula is an enormous non-luminous cloud of gas obscuring a faint emission nebula behind it. This object is very faint, and is very difficult to see even when looking through a telescope. In fact, it was not discovered until 1889, and then only by photographic means. 25 exposures per filter, 60 sec each |
